First we played games to practice the short A and short O sounds.

A is for apple!

O is for octopus!

We took our tests, and I was so happy.  The students did a great job!

The kids did a great job on their tests!

Today we sang “Octopus’ Garden” with Miss Rita’s class again.

They did so well!  I hope to put up a video of them singing soon.

Next week we will start Vv!

We continued with our “Do you like…” question game today.

The kids are great with the answers now!

A great day!

We had a great day in class today.

We practiced finding the letter P in our warm-up today to prepare us for our P phonics lesson that starts tomorrow.

Then, in our Let’s Go books, we practiced:

  • “How old are you?”  “I’m 6.”
  • Make a line.
  • Make a circle.

We sang more of our song today.  The kids love the video!

In our phonics books we finished C, W, and R.  Great work, kids!

We started to play our spelling game with cards on the floor, but we stopped early.  Remind your kids that there is no Arabic in English class!

Then we practiced writing the answer to “Do you… ” questions:

  • Yes, I do.
  • No, I don’t.

They did one side in class, and the other side is homework.

So many kids brought their homework today!  I am so proud!  See you all tomorrow.
